The Tri-M Music Honor Society recognizes exceptional middle school and high school music students throughout the world. The Chapter of the Year Award was developed specifically to offer opportunities for recognizing outstanding Tri-M members and chapters.
NAfME encourages all chapters to begin planning their Chapter of the Year entries in the fall. Point evaluation forms, which provide guidelines regarding chapter activities, are available online from the National Office of NAfME. The same form and point count is used as the national Tri-M Chapter of the year program found in your chapter manual. It should be sent to the Kansas Tri-M Chairperson at the same time as the national deadline. We encourage chapters to make a copy of their original national Chapter of the Year resume and send it to the Kansas Tri-M State Chairperson.
