Festival Scores – Audition Management System
We will use Festival Scores to manage audition mp3 uploads and judging. Teachers may begin creating their Director account and adding in their student profiles. The following Event Tag will be needed in order to get started with your audition uploads, once you have your school and student profiles in place.
Use the following Event Tag to activate the 2020-21 Audition Event in your Director account:
— record their students’ auditions to mp3 format files.
— create their student profiles in Festival Scores.
— upload the mp3 audition recordings to Festival Scores.
— login and listen to the auditions.
— score the auditions using the established rubric.
— be able to listen to each entry as many times as needed.
— identify disqualifying factors found in the recordings.
Judges will not…
— know who they are listening to.
— have access to any identifying information for each entry.
The KMEA All-State Elementary Choir Chair will…
— login and verify completion of judging.
— validate disqualifying factors as identified by judges.
— be responsible for taking questions regarding policy of the Elementary Choir
— generate the final roster for publication.
— notify teachers of selected students.
The KMEA Webmaster will…
— monitor data processes during the registration and judging timeline.
— be responsible for primary tech support.
— post the final roster online when it has been released.
— receive and manage audition and participation fees.
5th grade students may submit auditions to both the KCDA Treble Choir and the KMEA All-State Elementary Choir. KCDA will also be using Festival Scores. Teachers only need to create one account in order to participate in both Audition Events.
