Small Schools

Do you have unanswered questions about pedagogy, fingerings or translations? Would you like some assistance preparing your students for All-State auditions? Are you struggling to find a balance teaching elementary all the way to high school? Try the Small Schools Hotline… an answer could be a few clicks and a Zoom session away.

Any 1A/2A teacher who would like some assistance, advice, direction, etc. has the opportunity to Zoom with a teacher who could help. There are teachers available to guide you through preparing All-State audition music, helping translate foreign language pieces, perhaps even help with a quick instrument repair. The Small Schools Committee recognizes that some 1A/2A teachers could be teaching out of their area of expertise, could be teaching K-12 everything in areas where access to live resources are non-existent. This hotline was created to meet that need. To schedule a live Zoom session, please contact Vesta Jo Still. Remember – we don’t know what we don’t know – so ask your question! We are here to help.
