The KMEA All-State Choirs performs each year at the annual In-Service Workshop at the Century II Convention Center in Wichita. Students are selected via a rigorous audition process that starts at the district level. Students with the top audition scores who perform at the district level are then eligible for selection to the All-State Choirs. Thus, the All-State student musicians are truly “the best of the best.”
All-State Mixed Choir & All-State Treble Choir Concert
Century II Convention Center, Wichita KS
[This will be a combined concert—one ticket will gain entry for both choirs.]
[Registration details for 2019-20 will be posted at a later date following some needed system upgrades. Thank you for your patience.]
Registration for 2018-2019 KMEA District and KMEA All-State Choirs will be managed in the KMEA All-State Manager site, and an account must also be created in the KMEA Members site (the accounts in both sites are then connected together for NAfME enforcement). This registration covers both levels of consideration, district and state. The regular registration deadline is 11:59:59 PM CDT on October 7, 2018. Online entries can be made after that point for higher audition fees. Refer to your KMEA district for fee levels, which are based on entry time-stamps. For all entries, the sponsoring director must be a member of KMEA.
Students may use the Application Worksheet to assist teachers with preparing for registration, as well as for on-site registration at district auditions.
