KSHSAA Regulations for Music Festivals
The KMEA State Board of Directors voted at the February meeting in Wichita to recommend to KSHSAA that intelligent accompaniment be allowed, within certain guidelines, at regional and state solo/ensemble festivals and that adult non-piano accompanists be allowed to perform with choirs at State Large Group. These proposed changes are subject to KSHSAA approval.
